Pravachol Common use

Pravachol is a cholesterol-lowering medication which used to treat high cholesterol or to lower the risk of heart attack, stroke, or other heart complications in people with coronary heart disease. Pravachol Precautions

Use Pravachol with cautions if you drink large amounts of alcohol and if your medical history include liver, kidney, or heart disease; a severe infection; low blood pressure; or seizures. Pravachol in combination with alcohol can increase the side effects caused by this drug. If you are having surgery, including dental surgery, tell the doctor that you are taking Pravachol. Pravochol should not be used during pregnancy, becoming pregnant or lactating without doctor's advice. Do not use Pravachol before breast-feeding withour doctor's permission.

Also note that interaction between two medications does not always mean that you must stop taking one of them.
