Atrovent is used to prevent bronchospasm, or narrowing airways in the lungs.

Atrovent is is an anticholinergic which used to prevent bronchospasm, or narrowing airways in the lungs, in people with bronchitis, emphysema, or COPD (chronic obstructive pulmonary disease). Atrovent is working by decreasing nasal secretions.
Atrovent Consult with your doctor before using. Use no more than was prescribed. Shake the it before each puff. Each puff must be inhaled through the mouth properly for Atrovent to work, avoid contacting with eyes. You should be used 2 puffs if you have not used Atrovent during 6 days or you should be used 7 puffs if you have not used it for a week or longer.
Atrovent The usual starting dose for adults is 2 inhalations, 4 times per day.

Do not use without doctor permission if you if you have, or have had, any of the following conditions; an eye problem called "glaucoma", problems with passing urine, constipation, cystic fibrosis. Atrovent should not be used during pregnancy, becoming pregnancy or lactating. Do not use before breast-feeding without doctor's advice.
Atrovent is not allowed if you are sensitive to or have ever had an allergic reaction to Atrovent or any of its ingredients, or to soybeans, soy lecithin, or peanuts, you should not take this medication. Also do not use this medecine if you are allergic to drugs based on atropine.
They may include an allergic reaction: hives; difficulty breathing; swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat. Also the most possible side effects include fast, pounding heartbeat.
If you experience one of them stop using Atrovent and tell your doctor as soon as possible. Also consult with your doctor about any side effect that seems unusual.

Atrovent Also note that interaction between two medications does not always mean that you
must stop taking one of them. As usual it affects the the effect of drugs, so consult with your doctor about how it interactions are being managed or should be managed.
If you forgot to take your dose in time, please do it as soon as you remember. But do not take if it is too late or almost time for your next dose. Do not take double or extra doses. Take your usually dose next day in the same regularly time.
Symptoms of overdose are not known well, but most possible include: fast or irregular heart beat, dry mouth, blurred vision, nausea, stomach pains, constipation and difficulty passing urine. If you experience one of them call your doctor immediately.
Store at room temperature between 20 and 25 degrees C (68 and 77 degrees F). Store away from heat, moisture, and light. Do not store in the bathroom. Keep out of the reach of children.
